Sometimes we get so caught up in what we are doing that it can make us forget the great things in life.
When I see myself getting overwhelmed or losing focus I look to my children to put some perspective back into things. Recently I was reading some posts in a forum and ran across this poem - it’s truly inspiring.
We work hard and play hard but, sometimes stepping back and looking at things through the eyes of a child can be the one thing that brings us back to reality.
I’m not sure who wrote this and I suspect there are many versions out there - enjoy…
I was hanging out in front of the computer over the weekend watching the tweets flow by…
A thought crossed my mind “Can I share with people the ideas, concepts and thoughts that I’ve learned in 140 characters or less?” The reason I asked my self this is that I’m usually one to ramble on about things - don’t get me wrong I can make a point, but I have a lot to say about the things I’m passionate about.
I have received many emails from people looking for advice on how to start their business and one of the common questions that always comes up is - “What do I have to learn to make this work?”
I wish that I could just send out a bulk mailing that says - Learn everything you can - never stop!
There are litteraly hundreds of lead generation systems availble, so what should you look for when choosing one?
Here are some of the things that you should look for when choosing a good system:
1. You need to be able to brand yourself not a product or the system. The system should allow you to talk about yourself through video or audio and give your visitors an overview of what it is that you can do for them. You should be able to personalize the content to fit who you are.
In reality it’s not a bad way to start things off. Many people are looking to start a new business, but one of the big road blocks in their minds is that they think they don’t have the time.
Network Marketing is a great option. There are many advantages to this business and one of them is that you can schedule your own time and build your business on your schedule.
Now, I’ll probably get a lot of flack from those that do this full-time and there are others that will say that it is impossible to do without fully dedicating yourself to making it work.

There is so much going on with Twitter that if your not jumping on the bandwagon - I suggest you get a jumping!
As this service evolves there are so many tools available to help you mange your Twitter account that there are entire websites dedicated to tracking the tools.
The idea behind Twitter (among other things) is to acquire followers that are interested in the same things you are and communicate with them, build relationships, and be a part of the community.

With all the social media options available I’ve found that Twitter is a great tool for building relationships and just getting connected with people.
It’s simple and fun.
Using social media is a great way to build your business, especially a Network Marketing business, because ultimately that is what our business is about - connecting with people.
Although getting the point across about a topic can sometimes be hard to do with only 140 characters — I guess that’s the beauty of Twitter.
Yes, you can post links to information and that is what it’s all about - sharing.
But, what is you have something to say (more than 140 characters) and you don’t want to blog about it or send others to a link?
This is an interesting service that is free and uses your Twitter account as the sign-on. The beauty of this service is that it allows you to “blog” about your twits. You can ramble on about what ever you just tweeted and not have to worry about the 140 character limit.
This is a great way to add value to the community!
We are all in the business of knowing people, but sometimes I think we forget that it’s not only what people say to you that gives us signals, it’s also their body language that gives great insight into what a person is feeling and how they are reacting to what your saying.
You may have even seen the new television series “Lie To Me”. This is about a man who can tell if a person is telling the truth just by reading what their body signals are - (a human lie detector).
To really be effective in our communication we must learn to read what a person is showing us and change our approach to uncover why they have reacted that way. Read more…
